However, reality shows that employers are not prepared to make decisions based solely on personality and potential. Most often, their final choice comes down to level of experience and qualifications obtained.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify\"><b>Soft Skills<\/b><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We all know the top business schools and that reassuring narrative: &#8220;an HEC graduate is a guarantee of a good candidate&#8221;.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This logic has so far allowed for easy filtering. Today, the internationalization of career paths and the wealth of training programs offered no longer allow candidates to differentiate themselves solely through their education. This variety of diplomas is pushing employers to base their decisions on other criteria that don&#8217;t necessarily appear on paper. &#8220;One-third of working professionals believe that companies simply don&#8217;t care about soft skills&#8221;. A candidate&#8217;s potential and personality should not be overlooked and can indeed create a positive surprise. &#8220;75% of recruiters believe that placing greater emphasis on soft skills will bring more diversity, inclusion, and promote equal opportunities within their organization.&#8221; But to successfully identify these personality traits and motivation, you need to be open to meeting people by setting the CV aside for a moment.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify\"><b>Values<\/b><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Both candidates and consumers are increasingly scrutinizing the values claimed by recruiting companies. And it&#8217;s no longer just a simple request\u2014they need proof to back it up. Obtaining B Corp certification, being featured in employer brand rankings, and highlighting your CSR policy is no longer just marketing for your company but genuine proof of commitment to the future talents who will join your teams. Yet out of 4 million companies in France, barely a few hundred have passed the tests to obtain one of these labels or certifications.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify\"><b>Work Environment<\/b><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Candidates no longer have the same expectations and desires. Many have relocated to the provinces (between April 2020 and April 2021, the number of moves beyond 100 kilometers from Paris jumped by 34%). Remote work has become a selection criterion. A number of people are pursuing new projects. Work-life balance is paramount. In short, all these criteria mean that a recruitment process is no longer as straightforward as it once was. To overcome these challenges, you need to adapt and make compromises.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Say goodbye to criteria based solely on training, qualifications obtained, and career history. You need to be more sensitive than ever to the potential of talent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It is necessary for a company to question itself and adapt to market developments. You must make your employer brand accessible and respond to today&#8217;s values.
