Despite this, optimism remains with more targeted recruitment strategies in place.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify\"><b>Positive momentum in high-impact business positions.<\/b><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300\"><br \/>\nAt Shefferd, we remain fairly confident about the labor market&#8217;s evolution in terms of recruitment for 2025, while staying cautious given the prevailing government instability and uncertain geopolitical context \u2013 some players will not be spared.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">Recruitment needs remain strong in the most dynamic and undersupplied sectors. This trend is already taking shape at the beginning of this year in fields such as digital technology, energy, environment, personal services, and healthcare, which offer numerous employment and career transition opportunities, alongside growing recruitment activity in temporary staffing and project-based roles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">Hiring intentions for the first half of 2025 show overall growth in permanent contracts (+7% in job creation compared to July 2024), but concentrated in essential expertise areas that have a very strong business impact: management and leadership positions, finance, and sales roles. In corporate communications and executive support functions, where strategic stakes are high, demand remains steady. However, more traditional communications roles and digital expertise positions (previously insulated from crisis) are facing a slowdown.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">In short, in 2025, companies will invest and rely on profiles with critical skills to strengthen their competitiveness and innovation in an ever-evolving market. They will continue to hire, but likely in a more measured and selective manner than during the post-Covid euphoria years: less on cross-functional roles and more on strategic and operational positions. They will proceed cautiously: moving forward while postponing their hypergrowth projects to later.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify\"><b>Recruitment redefined.<\/b><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300\"><br \/>\nFrom this perspective, and to recruit &#8220;well,&#8221; approaches will increasingly be tailored to meet candidate expectations, who prioritize flexibility, continuous learning, and positive experience. Artificial intelligence (AI), gamification, and employer brand value are now more than ever key elements that will redefine recruitment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">Beyond salary, transparency throughout the recruitment process is also part of candidate expectations. According to APEC, more than half of managers expect a response to their application within less than three weeks and hope to hear back from the recruiter fifteen days after the interview. It is therefore crucial to ensure process efficiency so as not to lose talent to more responsive competitors. Condensing steps without compromising recruitment quality and relevance \u2013 that is precisely where the added value of working with a specialized recruitment firm lies\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">One thing is certain: the companies that will succeed in 2025 are those that manage to absorb the changes that have emerged over recent months and years across all areas \u2013 from remote work to the rise of generative AI.
